Hopefully, as Barry states, this type of thing should discourage people from trawling through Job Sites too much.

Re: http://www.careerrocketeer.com/2009/06/11-keys-to-successful-job-search.html

Great "case study" of all the different things someone in a job search should be doing from a networking perspective. Now multiply this activity over 100 contacts - you're toughest challenge will not be what should I do? but rather how should I prioritize?

Most candidates spend the vast majority of their time searching the job boards and responding to ads - what a waste. Spend no more than 10-15% of your time on job board activity.

If you want to reduce your job search time, perhaps you should be more like Staci!
